Italian singer Giusy Ferreri has released four studio albums, one compilation album, one extended play, twenty singles (including five as a featured artist) and thirteen music videos. Worldwide she has sold 1,690,908 copies.[1]

Giusy Ferreri made her debut in May 2005 with the single "Party", finding no success. The turning point in the singer's career took place in 2008 with the first series of the Italian talent show X Factor, where she placed second. A few months after the end of the talent was released the extended play Non ti scordar mai di me which sold over 314,000 copies in Italy.[1] The single of the same name, until 31 December 2008, according to Musica e dischi, has sold more than 286,859 digital downloads.[1]

In the same year was published the first studio album by the singer, Gaetana, which has sold over 700,000 copies (only in Italy).[1] The album was preceded by the single "Novembre" which has sold over 121,881 digital downloads.[1] The other singles from the album were "Stai fermo lì" and "La scala (The Ladder)".

In 2009 was published the second studio album by the singer, Fotografie, which has received the platinum certification by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.[1] The album is preceded by the cover "Ma il cielo è sempre più blu" which has sold over 15,000 digital copies.[1] From the album were extracted three more singles (the first two published simultaneously): "Come pensi possa amarti", "Il mare verticale" e "Ciao amore ciao".

In conjunction with the artist's participation at Sanremo Music Festival 2011, the record label Sony Music released the third studio album by the singer, Il mio universo, which was preceded by the single "Il mare immenso" (certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry for domestic sales exceeding 15,000 units).[1]

Three years later, Giusy Ferreri has returned to compete at Sanremo Music Festival 2014 with the songs "Ti porto a cena con me" and "L'amore possiede il bene". The first was chosen as the lead single from the fourth studio album by Ferreri, L'attesa.
