Gilberto dos Santos (born August 27, 1975 in Gramado, Brazil) is a former naturalized Lebanese football striker.
Playing career
He played for Nejmeh SC, Al-Akhaa Al-Ahli Aley and represented the Lebanon national football team at international level. He made 3 appearances for Lebanon at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup. Santos signed for Nejmeh SC on November 10 in 2002. He has scored 31 goals for Nejmeh SC.
The Brazilian Football Confederation reported in its annual report of international transfers that Gilberto dos Santos was transferred from Associação Chapecoense de Futebol to Maltese side Msida Saint-Joseph on November 5, 2007.[1]
International career
Gilberto formerly represented the Lebanon national football team at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup[2] and played in the World Cup 2002 Qualifying.[3]
