Giglana

Giglana is a village situated at 12 km (7 mi) distance from Neemrana in North Direction. This Village Covered With two sides by hills. Main Part of population in this village is of Rajputs, (chauhan). Village is divided into 5 parts(called "panas" in local language). village contain some of very old homes since 1400 AD. Rajput of the villages mainly join Indian army. There are 32 dhani in Giglana. Matawali dhani is a saini community dhani, it is famous for Mata fair which held in month of march (after holi.) In this dhani peoples mainly depends on agriculture and engaged in fruit and vegetables profession.One old temple about 400 years old which of lord Krishna and Hanuman ji.There is another temple which called Baba DhanDas ji temple it is near by the hills. The palm of this village is very famous.The trees of palm are along the giglana- mandhan road.There is another Dhani of saini called as "Dashodhra Ki Dhani".There are some respected person,they want to improve the condition which is a peaceful dahni .In this dhani the respected persons are active for saini samaj with other "maliyo ki dhani".In Dhani most of the youngsters have joint Army.The students of this Dhani are intelligent in study.Most of the girls study in collges.Outside of this dhani there is a big pool called as johhad in which the people used to go walk in the evening.In the rainy season there is no path to go outside of this dhani. The another major cast in this village is bharaman (the son of devidatt sharma). One tree of Mango and Dakh is very old in that area. People use their leaf and woods in havan an worship. and one pond in dhani is also very old 90% of population depends on Agriculture. language - Hindi It is very near to Haryana (nearby state) Border. village have two ponds for storing rain water. There are eight temples in the village of different GOD beliefs of Hindus. Festivals celebrated are Holi, Diwali, Gangaur, Teej, Ramnavmi and many others.
