Qarchak (Persian: قرچک; also known as Qareh Chak)[1] is a city in and the capital of Qarchak County, in Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 173,832, in 42,508 families.[2] Qarchack is 35 kilometers away from central Tehran.
