George Shields is a Scottish football player and coach.
He is a former football player who had spells at Dundee, Arbroath and Forfar.
Shields was assistant manager of Montrose from 1 July 2012 until 8 April 2014.
Shields was appointed manager of Montrose on 29 April 2014, succeeding Stuart Garden.[1][2] He resigned in February 2015, after a 3–0 home defeat by East Fife.[3]
