George Browne (archbishop of West Africa)

The Most Rev George Daniel Browne was an eminent Anglican priest in the second half of the 20th century
He was born in Cape Palmas Liberia in 1933,[1] educated at Cuttington University and Virginia Theological Seminary and ordained in 1962. He became Bishop of Liberia in 1970 and Archbishop of West Africa in 1982,[2] retiring from both posts in 1989. He died on 14 February 1993.[3]
