Genoni (Sardinian: Geroni) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Cagliari and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Oristano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 952 and an area of 43.9 square kilometres (16.9 sq mi).[1] Genoni borders the following municipalities: Albagiara, Assolo, Genuri, Gesturi, Gonnosnò, Laconi, Nuragus, Nureci, Setzu, Sini.
