Gary Motykie is a plastic surgeon who has been featured on the E! reality series Dr. 90210, Discovery Channels Plastic Surgery: Before and After, MTV True Life, VH1, and Dr Phil . He is in private practice as an American Board of Plastic Surgery Certified Plastic Surgeon & member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in Beverly Hills, California specializing in cosmetic plastic & reconstructive surgery.

Early life

Motykie was born in Mount Prospect, Illinois. He pursued Biomedical Engineering as an undergraduate.

Career

Motykie earned his undergraduate degree in the field of Bio-Medical engineering at the University of Illinois and his doctorate in medicine at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago.

He completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Texas. Throughout this time he continued to present his work nationally and he authored numerous journal articles and scientific papers on a wide variety of plastic surgical topics. Following his residency in plastic surgery Motykie completed an Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Beverly Hills where he continues to practice today.

Since opening his practice, Motykie has been featured in the New York Times, LA Times and Wall Street Journal as well as having featured appearances on Dr Phil, EXTRA, ACCESS Hollywood, ABC, SPIKE TV and Inside Edition. He has been featured on E! Entertainment’s series Dr. 90210, the Discovery Channel’s Plastic Surgery: Before & After, VH1 and MTV True Lives. Motykie continued to present his work nationally and he authored numerous journal articles and scientific papers on a wide variety of plastic surgical topics.
