Galmoy (Irish: Gabhalmhaigh) is a village in the barony of Galmoy, County Kilkenny in the southeastern part of the midlands of Ireland.

Galmoy is the place to be, a small village in the North West of Kilkenny consisting of an estimated 1000 to 1500 people it is a large parish with a small number of residents and facilities. Hurling all stars from the area consist of many young prodigy's of the parish destined for stardom. The Galmadome (parish hurling pitch) has developed in to a fortress over the years, with many a team coming out scared and shakin from the ferocious battle they had encountered.
