Gajanur is a village in Erode district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the birthplace of Kannada actor Rajkumar. It comes under Thalavadi Firka of ThalavadiTaluk. It is 1km from the town of Thalavadi, of late it has become one with Thalavadi, except for a stream (Chikkahole) separating them. It is abutting the Sathyamangalam wild life sanctuary (Thalamalai ranges).
