Frank Anthony Banda (born August 10, 1993) is a professional baseball player in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Banda was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 33rd Round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Sinton High School. He did not sign and attended San Jacinto College. In the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft, Banda was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 10th round.

On July 31, 2014, Banda and Mitch Haniger were traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Gerardo Parra.[1]

Taylor Clarke

Taylor Clarke (born May 13, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization.

Clarke attended Broad Run High School in Ashburn, Virginia. He began his college career at Towson University, playing college baseball for the Towson Tigers.[2] In January 2013, Clarke tore the ulnar collateral ligament of his pitching elbow, and underwent Tommy John surgery. He learned in March that Towson planned on ending their college baseball program, and decided to transfer to the College of Charleston to play for the College of Charleston Cougars.[3]

The Arizona Diamondbacks selected Clarke in the third round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[4][5] He signed with the Diamondbacks[6] and began his professional career with the Hillsboro Hops of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.[7]

Kaleb Fleck

Kaleb Tod Fleck (born January 24, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization.

Fleck graduated from Claysburg-Kimmel High School, and then attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he played college baseball for the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats.[8] As a starting pitcher for the Mountain Cats, Fleck had a 14-7 win–loss record, a 4.18 earned run average (ERA), and 118 strikeouts to 44 walks in 127 innings pitched in his three college seasons. A few weeks before the 2010 MLB Draft, he suffered a tear in the ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow, which necessitated Tommy John surgery.[9] After recovering from the surgery, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League in the summer of 2011. Based on his performance, the Arizona Diamondbacks signed him as an undrafted free agent in September 2011.[10][11]

Fleck played for the South Bend Silver Hawks of the Class A Midwest League in 2012, the Visalia Rawhide of the Class A-Advanced California League in 2013, and the Mobile BayBears of the Class AA Southern League in 2014, recording ERAs below 3.00 at each level.[9] At the end of the 2014 season, he was promoted to the Reno Aces of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League (PCL) to take part in the PCL playoffs.[12] After the 2014 season, the Diamondbacks assigned Fleck to the Arizona Fall League.[9]

Gabby Guerrero

Gabriel Martinez Guerrero (born December 11, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Guerrero signed with the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent on February 10, 2011.[13] He made his professional debut that season for the Dominican Summer League Mariners. Guerrero returned to the DSL Mariners in 2012 and also played for the Arizona League Mariners. In 68 games, he hit .349/.393/.593 with 15 home runs. Playing for the Clinton LumberKings in 2013 he hit .271 with a 661 on-base plus slugging (OPS) and four home runs. Guerrero played the 2014 season with the High Desert Mavericks.[14] In July he played in the All-Star Futures Game.[15][16] He finished the season playing in 131 games, hitting .307 with 18 home runs. On June 3, 2015, Guerrero was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 6 player trade with the Seattle Mariners.[17] The Diamondbacks added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[18]

His uncles, Vladimir Guerrero and Wilton Guerrero, played in Major League Baseball.[19]

Wei-Chieh Huang

Wei-Chieh Huang (born September 26, 1993) is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization.

Huang attended the National Taiwan University of Physical Education and Sport[20] and signed with the Diamondbacks as a free agent in 2014,[21] and made his professional debut with the Kane County Cougars of the Class A Midwest League in 2015.[20] Huang was chosen to represent the Diamondbacks at the 2015 All-Star Futures Game.[22]

Kyle Jensen

Kyle Jensen (born May 20, 1988) is an American outfielder in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He primarily plays right field, but has played left field and first base.

Jensen attended St. Mary's Preparatory School in Stockton, California.[23] He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 12th round of the 2009 MLB Draft out of St. Mary's College of California. He was added to the 40-man roster on November 20, 2012.[24] In 2013, he started the year at Jacksonville before being promoted to New Orleans. With Jacksonville, he hit .237, with 16 doubles, 16 homers, 42 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases. With New Orleans, he hit .233 with 15 doubles, 12 homers, 36 RBIs, and 1 stolen base. Jensen started the 2014 season at New Orleans, hitting .260 with 27 homers, 92 RBIs, and 1 stolen base.[25]

Jensen was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on November 17, 2014, in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.[26] On December 15, the Dodgers sent minor leaguer Craig Stem to the Marlins to complete the transaction.[27] He was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on December 19[28] but cleared waivers and was outrighted to the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers.[29] The Dodgers invited him to attend major league spring training in 2015[30] but he spent the season with Oklahoma City.[31] In 228 games, he hit .259 with 20 homers and 71 RBI.[25]

Matt Koch

Matt David Koch (born November 2, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Koch was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 37th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of Washington High School in Cherokee, Iowa. He did not sign and attended the University of Louisville. He was then drafted by the New York Mets in the third round of the 2012 MLB Draft.[32]

On August 30, 2015 the Mets traded Koch and Miller Diaz to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Addison Reed.[33] The Diamondbacks added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[34]

Domingo Leyba

Domingo Junior Leyba Santana (born September 11, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Leyba was signed by the Detroit Tigers as an international free agent in July 2012.[35] He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Dominican Summer League Tigers.[36] He led the league with a .348 batting average. He spent 2014 with the Connecticut Tigers and West Michigan Whitecaps, hitting .323 with two home runs.[37]

On December 5, 2014, the Tigers traded Leyba and Robbie Ray to the Arizona Diamondbacks as part of a three-team trade, with the Diamondbacks sending Didi Gregorius to the New York Yankees and the Yankees sending Shane Greene to the Tigers.[38]

Will Locante (born February 2, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Locante played college baseball at Cumberland University. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 11th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.[39] The Diamondbacks added him to their 40-man roster on November 20, 2014, and designated him for assignment on February 8, 2016.[40]

Dawel Leoner Lugo Baez (born December 13, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Lugo signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as a 16-year-old international free agent in 2011 for $1.3 million, the largest bonus paid to a Latin American infielder that year.[41] Ben Badler of Baseball America described Lugo in a scouting report as having "a solid swing, good bat speed and makes consistent contact with natural loft, showing the potential for plus power down the road."[41] He played his first season as a member of the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays in 2012, where he batted .224 in 47 games played.[42] Lugo began the 2013 season playing with the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Appalachian League, where he posted a .297 batting average with 6 home runs and 36 RBI in 51 games.[42] He was then promoted to the Low-A Vancouver Canadians, and played 16 games in which he batted .246 with 1 home run and 8 RBI.[42] Lugo was promoted to the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts for the 2014 season. He played in a career-high 117 games, where he batted .259 with 4 home runs and 53 RBI.[42] On August 8, 2015, Lugo was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Cliff Pennington.[43]

Jack Reinheimer

John Patrick Reinheimer (born July 19, 1992) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Reinheimer was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 31st round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft out of Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He did not sign with the Braves and attended East Carolina University to play college baseball. He was then drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fifth round of the 2013 MLB Draft.[44] He made his professional debut with the Everett AquaSox.[45] In 2014 he played for the Clinton LumberKings and High Desert Mavericks.[46] He started 2015 with the Double-A Jackson Generals. On June 3, 2015 the Mariners traded Reinheimer along with Dominic Leone, Welington Castillo and Gabby Guerrero to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Mark Trumbo and Vidal Nuno.[47]

Gabe Speier

Gabriel James Speier (born April 12, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Speier attended Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, California. The Boston Red Sox selected Speier in the 19th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, and he signed with the Red Sox.[48]

After the 2014 season, the Red Sox traded Speier with Yoenis Céspedes and Alex Wilson to the Detroit Tigers for Rick Porcello. He spent the 2015 season with the West Michigan Whitecaps of the Class A Midwest League.[49] After the 2015 season, the Tigers traded Speier and Ian Krol to the Atlanta Braves for Cameron Maybin.[50] Still during the 2015-16 offseason, the Braves traded Speier and Shelby Miller to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Dansby Swanson, Ender Inciarte, and Aaron Blair.[51]

Speier is the nephew of Chris Speier.[49]

Jamie Vaughn Westbrook (born June 18, 1995) is an American professional baseball second baseman in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Westbrook attended Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona.[52][53] He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[54] He made his professional debut with the Arizona League Diamondbacks and also appeared in games with the Missoula Osprey.[55] Westbrook spent 2014 with the South Bend Silver Hawks and 2015 with the Visalia Rawhide.

Alexander E. Young (born September 9, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Young attended Carmel High School in Mundelein, Illinois.[56] He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 32nd round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign and attended Texas Christian University (TCU) to play college baseball.[57] After his junior year, he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[58][59] He signed with the Diamondbacks and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Diamondbacks. After one appearance he was promoted to the Hillsboro Hops.
