GTS Celebrity Infinity is a Millennium Class cruise ship owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises. She was launched in 2001 as Infinity, and renamed Celebrity Infinity in 2007. During the summer cruising season, she cruises Alaska, and during the winter cruising season, South America, including Chile, Argentina, Panama, and Uruguay. From 2013 she will sail the Norwegian Fjords and British Isles, between fall and spring, she sails to South America and the Panama Canal.
Features
The ship boasts a two-story dining room, called the Trellis Dining Room. She also has a two-story theater called the Celebrity Theater. After being renovated in 2007, the ship has acquired many new features that are on the Solstice class ships, such as Cafe al Bacio or Bistro on Five. Other things added were an updated Oceanview Cafe, new carpets and decoration, as well as a wine restaurant called Cellar Masters.The whole Grand Foyer was redone and the ship was renamed Celebrity Infinity.
Infinity also features a restaurant with original fixtures and china from the legendary ocean liner SS United States, who still holds the transatlantic speed record to this day.
