G-Series is a major Bangladeshi record label.[1] [2] The owner of the company is Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan popularly known as Khaled.[3][4] It is the largest wholesaler and retailer company in Bangladesh in terms of production and distribution of Audio CD, Audio Cassettes, Video CD (VCD) and DVD of every aspect of audio-visual entertainment - Drama, Serials, Movies, TV programs, Reality Shows, Talent Hunts etc.[5] [2] As a producer, G-Series is the pioneer of the latest revolution of band music in Bangladesh.

History

G-Series was established in 1983 by Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan. It was named after the Nobel Prize winning literature work of Rabindranath Tagore (Gitanjali). In 2006, Agniveena production was founded as a sister concern of G-Series. It is the first ever successful company in Bangladesh to practice royalty system in entertainment business. Agniveena was named after the most acclaimed work "Agniveena" of the national poet of Bangladesh - Kazi Nazrul Islam . [1]
