Fuoriclasse is an Italian television series, directed by Riccardo Donna, filmed in 2011, starring Luciana Littizzetto, based on the books by Domenico Starnone. The synopsis of the miniseries is similar to the story of the film La scuola (1995), scripted also by Starnone.
Plot
The plot centers on a high school in Turin (Liceo Scientifico Caravaggio), which has as protagonite two classes of school: one from the first year of study and one that is preparing the state examination. The teachers in this series are seen as very human and not just condemning of the students who do not study. Indeed, the family situation of Isa Passamaglia (Littizzetto) Motl is unique, since she has a fourteen-year-old son who hates her and an irresponsible husband who has run away from home for years. The other colleagues Passamaglia have family problems, as do the students of that school have a headache personal. The success of the television series was huge in Italy for the attentive care of the issues regarding the timeliness of the lower-class Italian of those times. In fact, another theme that does amaze and is to demoralize the possible closure of the school in the history of the television series. Since the Ministry of Education does not have the funds necessary to ensure the continuity of the lessons of all public schools in the country, the ministers are going to shut down the high school of Caravaggio in Turin, to matter without the weak and bleak future of the students.
Again, this is a real situation in Italy in the present.
