The FRESH 15 Road Race is a USATF-certified 15-kilometer (9.3 mi) road race in Tyler, TX, United States. The race draws runners from all over the region and the nation. The race also includes a 5-kilomenter (3.1 mi) and a kids’ run.

The FRESH 15 is produced by Tyler, Texas-based regional grocery chain Brookshire Grocery Co.,[1] and directed by Bill Burke, race director and owner of New Orleans, LA-based Premier Event Management.[2]

The FRESH 15 was first held March 1, 2014.[3] The second event is set for March 7, 2015. Approximately 2,800 runners participated in the event’s first year, including 300 kids. The race is sponsored by consumer product goods companies, including Hormel Foods, PepsiCo and others. All participants receive a grocery bag full of food for participating, a signature piece of the event.[4]

The race supports charity and gave back more than $80,000 to non-profits the first year.[5]

Course titles are currently held by Enoch Nadler (men’s overall winner)[6] and Dawn Grunnagle (women’s overall winner), both from Dallas, TX. The race draws a large crowd and gives out cash prizes to the top 10 overall male/female 15k finishers.[7]
