Freddy Sahin-Scholl
Freddy Sahin-Scholl (born December 21, 1953 in Heilbronn as Freddy Scholl) is a German-American-Turkish singer and composer. In addition to his real name, he is known by the stage name Galileo.
Life and career
Freddy Sahin-Scholl is the son of a Turkish? German mother and an African-American soldier. He was raised by a foster mother in Wüstenrot who recognized his musical talent. He worked as an anesthesia assistant. At the age of forty, he discovered his talent of being able to alternate his voice turning it from baritone to soprano within seconds. He has never received Phonation or vocal training. On the 19 December 2010, he won the season 4 of Das Supertalent and 100.000€.[1] Sahin-Scholl lives and works in Karlsruhe. He is now trying to represent Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany.[2]
