Francisco de Salas was an Captain, Mayor, Councillor and Lieutenant Governor and Justice major in Ciudad de Trinidad y Puerto de Buenos Aires.[1]

Biography

Francisco de Salas Videla Reynoso was born in Esquivias, Toledo, Spain sixteenth century, the son of Juan de Salas and Susana de Barahona. He was married in Buenos Aires to Leonor Correa de Santana daughter of Pedro Correa and Antonia Moreno (Andalusian),[2] also sister of neighbor founder Anton Higueras de Santana, they were the first families arrived in the Río de la Plata with in the expedition of Juan Ortiz de Zárate.[3]

In 1588 Francisco de Salas was administrative officer of the Cabildo.[4] In 1602 he was appointed Lieutenant Governor and Justice major,[5] of the ciudad de la Trinidad, puerto de Buenos Aires. After time in 1606 was council of the Buenos Aires Cabildo.[6]

Francisco Salas Reynoso occupy others positions important of government, he was Mayor and Alférez Real in Buenos Aires.[7]
