Francis Marus is a Papua New Guinea politician. He has been a Pangu Party member of the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea since July 2007, representing the electorate of Talasea Open.

Marus was born in East Sepik, but was raised in the West New Britain Province.[1] He was a businessman before entering politics.[2] Marus first contested the Talasea seat at the 2002 general election, but was defeated by independent John Vulupundi, finishing third overall.[3] He again contested the seat at the 2007 general election, defeating Vulupundi after leading throughout the count.[4]
