Fort Churchill Generating Station
Fort Churchill Generating Station is a 226 megawatt plant on 000 acres (0 ha) located in the Wabuska, Nevada owned by Nevada Power. The plant consists of 2 units and first went into service in 1968. The plant is capable of limited operations using fuel oil on a temporary basis.[1] It is located in Lyon County, north of Yerington.

Awards
In 2010, the plant was recognized by the Edison Electric Institute for operating over 23 years without a lost time accident.[2]
