Forenoon

The first rush hour of the day is during the forenoon

Forenoon is the part of the day between sunrise and noon.^[1]

The term should not be confused with "fore noon" (two separate words), which is a translation of the Latin ante meridiem (a.m.), meaning a time between 12:00 midnight and 12:00 midday.
