Fluvir

Fluvir is the brand name of a drug, generic oseltamavir, manufactured and marketed by Hetero Drugs in India and developing countries. Hetero produces the drug under a 2005 licence from Hoffmann–La Roche. The drug is known worldwide as Tamiflu, which is the name that Roche uses to market it.

The drug has been shown to be effective against avian flu (bird flu). It is also prescribed against swine flu.
