Flowers, North Carolina

Coordinates: 35°39′14″N 78°20′42″W / 35.65389°N 78.34500°W / 35.65389; -78.34500 Flowers is an unincorporated community in Johnston County, North Carolina, west of Jordan, and southeast of Archer Lodge. It lies at an elevation of 289 feet (88 m).

While the borders of the community are not well defined, the intersection of Buffalo Road and North Carolina Highway 42 is generally considered the center of the community. Flowers Plantation is the largest planned community in the Research Triangle. It is named for Joshua Percy Flowers, who owned the historically significant property from the 1920s to 1982 and whose family today works to preserve the area’s traditions and historical roots while offering the very finest in quality homes and amenities for today’s modern families. Flowers Plantation was voted 2013 NC Community of the Year.
