Fjomet Nunatak

Fjomet Nunatak (73°25′S 2°55′W / 73.417°S 2.917°W / -73.417; -2.917Coordinates: 73°25′S 2°55′W / 73.417°S 2.917°W / -73.417; -2.917) is an isolated nunatak about 8 nautical miles (15 km) east-southeast of Mount Hallgren, along the Kirwan Escarpment of Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by the Norwegian–British–Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–52) and from air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59) and named Fjomet.[1]
