Figueiró dos Vinhos (Portuguese pronunciation: [fiɣɐjˈɾɔ ðuʒ ˈviɲuʃ]) is a municipality in Leiria District in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 6,169,[1] in an area of 173.44 km².[2]
The present Mayor is Rui Almeida Silva, elected by the Social Democratic Party. The municipal holiday is the Saint John's day on June 24.
In the municipality there is a small village called: "Casal de São Simão" Site: http://www.casaldesaosimao.com.
