Fifth Conference of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance

Fifth Conference of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance (also, First Quinquennial International Woman Suffrage Alliance Meeting; sometimes referred to by historians as Fourth Conference of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance) was held in London, England on April 26 through May 1, 1909. Twenty countries were represented. Representatives from twenty countries attended with Carrie Chapman Catt presiding.[1] Delegates included Johanna Munter (Denmark), Rosika Schwimmer (Hungary), Dr. Anita Augspurg (Germany), Zénéide Mirovitch (Russia), and Gina Krog (Norway).[2]
