Ferdinand Kirchhof
Ferdinand Kirchhof (born 21 June 1950 in Osnabrück) is a German judge, jurisprudent and tax law expert.
Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany
Since 1 October 2007, he is a sitting Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany in the court's first senate, succeeding Udo Steiner.[1] In March 2009, he was elected vice president of the court.[2]

Personal life
Kirchhof is the younger brother of Paul Kirchhof, a former Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany.
