"Feel the love / Merry-go-round" is the 51st (53rd overall) single, by Japanese singer and songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki released on December 25, 2013. The single, written by Hamasaki, is her first single since "L" which was released in late September 2010. The song debuted at number three on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart and at number five on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, making it her lowest charting single since "Depend on You" was released fifteen years ago, on December 9, 1998.

Commercial performance

"Feel the love / Merry-go-round" made its official debut at number three on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart and at number five on the Oricon Weekly Singles Charts selling 30,385 copies within its first week. With this position, "Feel the love / Merry-go-round" is Hamasaki's first single to miss the top spot since "Daybreak"'s release nearly twelve years earlier, on March 6, 2002 which peaked at two.[1]
