Fauzia Kasuri (Urdu: فوزیہ قصوری, born 8 September 1952) is a Pakistani politician and is one of the central figures of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Fauzia Kasuri is a founding member of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, a movement for justice in Pakistan. Apart from raising funds for the party, she has been President of the Women Wing of the party for 17 years and is responsible for building women chapters of the party in Europe, the Middle East and the US. She has been a member of the Manifesto and Constitution Committees of the party and has played a leading role in nurturing the women and youth wings within the party.


Currently, she is Chairperson of the Advisory Council on Women Development with the Poverty Eradication Initiative.( PEI) She is a long time volunteer for the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and Research Center, involved in the international fund raising for the charity. Fauzia Kasuri has a long track record of fund raising for the Imran Khan Foundation as well. Having been affiliated with many social causes like the SOS, the Layton Rahmatullah Benevolent Trust, she is also on the Board of I-Care Foundation in Pakistan and was a leading figure for the relief work with the IDPs from Waziristan.

Personal life and education

Fauzia Kasuri was born in Karachi, Pakistan. Studied at the Karachi American School and St Joseph's Convent, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the Karachi University. She later joined the MBA program at the University of North Carolina, studying Economics and Statistics.
