Fateful Findings is a 2014 paranormal, science fiction, conspiracy film written, produced, and directed by Neil Breen.
Plot
Mystical powers are revealed to Dylan after he is hit by a car and survives the accident through a mysterious and miraculous speedy recovery. The accident enlightens Dylan not only to his own powers, but to the corruption of governments and corporations. Formerly an author, Dylan exercises his new found powers to expose the most secret government and corporate secrets. His commitment to this mission is tested by his wife's downward spiral into alcohol and drugs and the suspicious death of his best friend. He is guided by a mysterious psychic and encouraged by the discovery of his lost childhood girlfriend (revealed to be his nurse during his recovery from the accident). In a flashback, Dylan is shown during his short time with his childhood girlfriend and that they discover a powerful but unexplained force or energy hidden in rocks that may be the source of his recently revealed mystical powers. Dylan's life as an author slowly deteriorates, but in the end he releases the most secret government and corporate secrets to the world. Exposed, government officials and executives throughout the world take their own lives, often in shocking public exhibitions to gathered crowds. Dylan lets the world know that they have the power to fight the tyranny of corruption just as he has done.
Although not in the final cut of the film, the trailer implies that the government, men in black, or aliens may have been monitoring Dylan throughout his entire life, and possibly may have been the original source that granted him his powers.
Throughout the film, Dylan's home and the location of energy rocks which Dylan and his childhood love discover are 'haunted' by an unexplained cloud or gas being (or possibly a ghost). This may be an entity watching over Dylan's use of his powers or simply waiting for the right time to activate the powers.
