Fanuj
A sunni tribe was consist of 75 families in 1972 record, Major families are Arbabi, Arbab, Nawab, Dehdar, Habibi, Malek etc.
Fanuj was mainly famous by single tribe leader, Nakh Bakht Arbabi Malek he ruled fanuj until the revelution period and has five children his wife Ghanj Malek was from Malek tribes, they had five children, Habib Arbabi, Juma Arbabi, Raham bibi Arbabi, Din Mohammad Arbabi and Rammadan Arbabi.
Nakh Bakht Arbabi, Owned 60% of lands in the Fanuj, which was then divided among his children's and some was left disputed by district government .
Nakh Bakht Arbabi comes from the descended of Sultan Bidar Bakht (house of timur)
Fanuj County (Persian: شهرستان فنوج) is a County in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 38,459, in 8,450 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: Central District and The County has one city: Fanuj.
