Falam District

Location of Tedim District in Burma

Falam District (Burmese: ဖလမ်းခရိုင်) is a district of the Chin State/Zogam in Burma.[1] It consists of 5 townships and 515 villages. The major towns include: Chikha (Gyikhar), Tonzang (Htonzan), Tiddim, Fort White, Falam and Hakha. They call themselves Mizo.

After the formation of Hakha District by the first Chin State Hluttaw emergency meeting No. 2/2012 on 1 June, only Falam, Tiddim (Tedim) and Tunzan (Tonzang) townships remain in Falam District.[2]
