Football Club de Chartres is a French association football club, based in Chartres.
History
The club was founded in 1989 as the result of a merger between Vélo Sport Chartrain and Sporting Club de Chartres. They are based in the town of Chartres and their home stadium is the Stade des Grands Pres. As of the 2009–10 season, the club plays in the Division d'Honneur de Centre, the sixth tier of French football.
