Ezekiel B. Hart

Ezekiel Bishop Hart (c. 1795 – 26 August 1814) was an officer in the United States Navy during the War of 1812.
Biography
He was born circa 1795 to Abram Hart and Polly Coleman. Hart entered the Navy as a Midshipman on April 30, 1814. He was killed in the action of Commodore Isaac Chauncey's squadron on Lake Ontario August 26, 1814.
Namesake
The destroyer USS Hart (DD-110) was named in his honor.
