Exclusion area

An exclusion area is the area around a nuclear reactor where the reactor licensee has the authority over all activities - including exclusion of persons from the premises.[1]

Other sites dubbed exclusion areas include physical spaces adjacent to nuclear-weapon areas, such as missile-house entryways and access-areas for anti-submarine rockets.
