Everbread Limited and "Everbread Singapore Pte" were a travel technology software company with based in London, United Kingdom and Singapore, with their parent holding company, "Everbread Holdings Limited" formed in the British Virgin Islands. The parent company was founded in June 2009. The UK operating subsidiary Everbread LImited was placed into insolvency on 22 August 2013 with reported debts of £8.7 and Everbread Singapore Pte was placed into bankruptcy in Singapore at approximately the same time with unreported additional debts.[1]
History
After incorporation in 2009, Everbread's core air fare shopping technology, Haystack, was released in early 2010.[2] The company received increased media attention during the ten-month antitrust review of Google's ultimately approved acquisition of ITA Software [3][4] but has since ceased all operations and halted updating of its Haystack software following the bankruptcy of its operating arms.
Prior to the bankruptcy of its operating arms, Everbread worked with passenger host system Radixx and technology player Ypsilon.Net.[5] Former Everbread customers included AERTiCKET, Cheapflights[6] and Australian online travel agency Jetabroad.[7]
