Euteleostei
The Euteleostei is a clade of bony fishes that evolved some 240 million years ago. It is divided into the Protacanthopterygii (including the salmon and dragonfish) and the Neoteleostei (including the lanternfish, lizardfish, oarfish, and the Acanthopterygii).[1][2][3]
