Eude Brito
Eude Ezequiel Brito (born August 19, 1978) is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball. He last played for the St. George Roadrunners of the independent Golden Baseball League. He made his Major League debut on August 21, 2005, with the Philadelphia Phillies. He was 1–2 for the Phillies in 2005 with a 3.68 ERA. He started the 2006 season by pitching for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. Brito then was with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre of the International League before being recalled by the Phillies on June 3. After losing his first two starts, he was sent back down to Scranton on June 9.
In December 2007, Brito signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals. He began the 2008 season with the Double-A Harrisburg Senators before being promoted to Triple-A, but was released on April 16, 2008. On April 22, 2008, he signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets. He became a free agent at the end of the season. The last two seasons 2009–10 he has been pitching for the St. George Roadrunners of the Golden Baseball League.
