Ethan Burgess (born January 27, 1983 in Los Angeles) California is an American pairs skater. In 2010 he was cast as a professional skater on the ABC show Skating with the Stars.

Biography

Burgess started skating at the age of 10 after watching the Olympics on TV. With former partner Keauna McLaughlin he won two consecutive medals at the United States Figure Skating Championships: A bronze in 2004 and pewter in 2005. He's a three-time USA Team member, earning three National medals, and is a five-time Senior National Competitor. In addition to competing for the last 14 years, Ethan has been coaching since 2001. He is currently a coach with the Professional Skaters Association and U.S. Figure Skating at Detroit Skating Club. In 2006 he was in the major motion picture "Blades of Glory" as Jon Heder's stunt double.

On Skating with the Stars, Burgess was partnered with reality television star Bethenny Frankel. On December 21, 2010, Burgess and Frankel were named the runners-up of the series. In 2011, he appeared in several episodes of her series, Bethenny Ever After, documenting their time on Skating with the Stars.
