It serves the communities of Lake Worth, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, The Acreage, and is in the Florida-Georgia District of the LCMS. The church offers both traditional and contemporary services and runs the Early Learning Center preschool. It was founded in 1974. With nearly 200 members as of 2006, it is among the twelve congregations of the Palm Beach Circuit.

Lake worth is home to a thriving community, and church programs and activities draw on that resource. Since 2001, the church has hosted a car show, pumpkin patch and golf tournament.

History

Epiphany was first conceived to accommodate the growing westward expansion of Palm Beach County in the mid 1970s. Church land was purchased and construction of the first sanctuary was undertaken. That first building was renamed Seed Hall and with the closing of the Woodlands retreat Emmaus Hall.

The preschool building was completed in 2001. The congregation has announced "planning to plan" a new sanctuary with plans already approved by the governing authorities.

Preschool

The Early Learning Center is a Christian preschool that accommodates up to 100 pupils. The church also supports an aftercare program.

Ministries

Epiphany support numerous ministries including Christian Education, Stewardship, Youth, and Fellowship ministries; all under the direction of the Board of Lay Ministry and the Parish Planning Council.

Church Cross Cell Tower

Epiphany Lutheran Church received international attention during the construction and dedication of a 100-foot-tall (30 m) church cross in time for Christmas 2009. The cross also serves as a cell phone tower for T-Mobile. The cross is the largest freestanding cross in south Florida.
