Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications Committee (Georgia House)

The House Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications Committee is a 19 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 16 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation that regulates energy and all other public utilities.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The House Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications Committee is responsible for legislation "concerning the energy, gas, electric, and other related industry areas. It is also responsible for the rules and regulations concerning the telecommunications industry."[1]
