Emperor Zhi
Emperor Zhì (simplified Chinese: 帝挚; traditional Chinese: 帝摯; pinyin: Dì Zhì) or simply Zhì was an Emperor of China. Also known as Qingyang-shi (青陽氏), he was born Jiang Kuang'er (姜匡二) as the eldest son to Emperor Ku and Changyi (常儀). He ruled for nine years from c. 2366 BC – c. 2358 BC until he died and was succeeded by younger half-brother Yao. His birthplace was Qinghua (清化, east of present-day Bo'ai County of Jiaozuo City).
