Emmanuel TV is one of Africa's largest Christian television networks with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, founded by T.B. Joshua, Pastor of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
History
Since its inception in 2006, Emmanuel TV has broadcast Christian programmes, stating that its mission is 'to preach the Good News to all mankind.' [1] Its playout centre is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Programming
Emmanuel TV broadcasts a range of programmes from The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, including live events such as the weekly SCOAN Saturday and Sunday Services and Wednesday healing services, international crusades with Prophet TB Joshua, extensive charitable activities,[2] messages claimed to be prophetic on both personal [3] and international levels,[4][5] claimed healing testimonies, regular teaching and preaching from TB Joshua and SCOAN Wisemen, and programs dedicated to youth and children.
These include:
- Standard For Life - teaching with TB Joshua alongside miraculous healing and words of knowledge
- God Is Still Saying Something - prophetic revelations from TB Joshua and their resulting confirmations
- Leaders Of Tomorrow - talk-show showcasing youths with harrowing experiences for others to learn from
- Aim High - messages from SCOAN Wisemen.
Special events such as the New Year's Eve Candlelight vigil and the thanksgiving of President John Atta Mills of Ghana at the SCOAN was also shown live on Emmanuel TV. The channel's motto is 'Changing lives, changing nations, changing the world.' T.B. Joshua has donated televisions to prisons and hospitals[Needy]so that they will be able to watch the Emmanuel TV broadcasts.[6][7]
