Emily White

Emily White is a former chief operating officer at Snapchat Inc.

White was hired by Snapchat Inc as a business strategist and advisor.[1] White served as the COO from 2013 till March 2015. The public announcement of White leaving the company occurred days after the Snapchat received funding from Alibaba Group.[2]

Background

In the past White was a Director of Business Operations at Instagram, as well as Director, Local at Facebook Inc. and Director, Asia Pacific Latin America Online Sales & Operations at Google Inc. White had obtained her Bachelor's Degree at Vanderbilt University.[3] She is also a board member at Lululemon Athletica Inc and National Center for Women in I.T. respectively.[1] In September 2015, Emily joined Hyperloop Technologies as a board observer.
