Emily Colson

Emily Colson is an American writer. She is the daughter of Charles Colson and Nancy Billings Colson. She currently attends North River Community Church in Pembroke, Massachusetts.

Overview

She is the author of Dancing with Max: A Mother and Son Who Broke Free (2010), a book "about living with a child with autism." [1][2]

Colson's son, Max, "is mentally impaired and has mild autism."[1] She spoke at a fundraiser for Compassionate Heart Ministry, a Zeeland, Michigan nonprofit agency that provides a safe environment for young adults and teens with disabilities to socialize.[1]
