Emil Molin (born February 3, 1993) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL as a prospect for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Stars in the 4th round (105th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Emil made his Elitserien debut with Brynäs IF in the 2011–12 season. Molin recorded his first Elitserien point on December 10, 2011, an assist on a goal by Mads Hansen.[1]
On June 15, 2012, Molin was signed to a three-year entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars.[2] He was loaned back to Sweden for three year following signing with the Stars before he made his way to North America to fulfil to final year of his contract for the 2015–16 season.
Emil's father Ove Molin played with Brynäs for 18 seasons.
