Elwood Union Free School District is a school district in New York which serves residents in Huntington, southeastern Greenlawn, southwestern East Northport and Elwood, all of which are communities in the Town of Huntington.
The district includes two elementary schools, Harley Avenue Primary School and James H. Boyd Intermediate School, a middle school, Elwood Middle School, and a high school, John Glenn High School.
Elwood is a suburban Long Island community located in the Town of Huntington approximately 32 minutes by car from Manhattan. There is a student enrollment of approximately 2,625.
The District offices are located inside Elwood Middle School.
