Elmisaurinae is a subfamily of bird-like oviraptorosaurs either in Caenagnathidae or Oviraptoridae. Being more derived than groups like Caudipteridae, elmisaurines are quite primitive compared to Oviraptorinae, a group of possibly closely related dinosaurs.[1]
