History
Ellistown & Ibstock United was formed in June 2013 following a merger between Ibstock United and Ellistown. The news of the merger was first announced by the two long serving chairmen of the respective clubs, Andy Roach and Neil Costello. Andy Roach, formerly of Ellistown FC is chairman of the new organisation and his counterpart, Neil Costello is now vice-chairman in the re-formation. The club's first season was more successful than either of the founding clubs' histories, finishing in third place of the East Midlands Counties League, qualifying for the FA Cup, FA Vase and Westerby Cup and also booking a place in the final of the Coalville Charity Cup.
The club play their first team games in the East Midlands Counties League at Terrace Road in Ellistown.
