Elisa Jordana (born Elisa Ann Schwartz) is an American musician, actress and comedy writer.

Career

In 2005 Elisa Jordana (then known as Schwartz) joined the dance-pop band Cobra Starship as a keytar player and backing vocalist. In 2007 she was fired by the band and replaced by Victoria Asher under circumstances that led to a public argument between Jordana and the Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta.[1]

In 2008 she was reinventing her musical career and returned to the public eye as Elisa Jordana. In an mtv.com article featuring her new image and the song Nymphomaniac, she expressed admiration for her old bandmates on Cobra Starship but had decided to concentrate on a solo career.[2] In the same year she took part in the reality TV show Redemption Song on Fuse TV.

In 2011 Jordana started appearing on the Howard Stern Show. She was Miss Howard TV of May 2012.[3] She became known for bits performed with the Stern Show writer Benjy Bronk. In 2011 Bronk hijacked the Gloria Allred and Sharon Bialek Herman Cain sexual abuse press conference. Bronk repeated Elisa Jordana's name numerous times and plugged her music. The Rachel Maddow Show discussed the press conference and played an edited version of Jordana's song Fuck you, I'm fine.[4] In December 2014, Howard Stern let Jordana and Bronk conducted an interview of the show host Howard Stern himself. According to Stern, it was one of the worst decisions he made to allow this. [5] In another bit Bronk let the celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton "finger him" in exchange for Stern to recognize that Elisa Jordana was a contributor and writer for the Howard Stern show.[6][7]

In February 2015 she started an internet variety show called "Kermit and Friends" on Spreecast interactive video platform. It currently runs five days a week (Monday through Friday). The show has featured various internet personalities and guest appearances by celebrities such as comedian John Melendez, Howard Stern Show writer Benjy Bronk, comedian Iliza Shlesinger, musician Eytan Mirsky (composer of the title songs for the films "American Splendor," Happiness"," and "The Tao of Steve"), MMA fighter Al Iaquinta and others.[8]
