Elaine Glover

Elaine Glover (born 1982 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire) is an English actress. She grew up in Skipton.[1]

Elaine trained at Rose Bruford College as an Actor Musician.[2] Her professional appearances include The Royal, Footballers' Wives, Footballers' Wives: Extra Time, Silent Witness, Casualty, Doctors, The Bill and Heartbeat and was an original cast member in the musical production of Bad Girls. She has taken leading roles at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Royal Exchange and Theatre Clywd. She played PC Lucy Slater in BBC1's Police drama, HolbyBlue. In April 2009, Glover joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Abi Raven. Elaine appeared in Emmerdale as police officer Laura Prior on 27 July 2010 and again on 28 July 2010. She returned to Emmerdale again in January and February 2011. She recently played the role of Mary in Tim Firth's production of "The Flint Street Nativity" at Hull Truck Theatre . She has sung solo at the O2 and at The Royal Albert Hall. In 2011, Elaine underwent her raw food chef apprenticeship at Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali.
